A pantomime whirlwind adventure of magic and mayhem, written by society member Marianne Bowen

Dick Whittington is a country boy on the path to find his dreams, he heads to London where he's been told the streets are paved with gold and everyone is as happy as Larry. With the help of his trusty Cat he soon finds himself in the big city but gets a rude awakening from the villain of our story, King Rat. Not to be deterred, he falls in love with Alys, the Alderman's daughter, and meets a whole host of colourful characters including Sally the Cook, Idle Jack and even the Queen of a tropical island.
